Hello Laura! We are so excited to have you as a Gallinée Facialist at the French Pharmacy. Could you tell us more about yourself?
Hello ! My name is Laura Sanchez, I am a French beauty therapist from the South of France. I was lead therapist at one of the famous thermal spa from La Chaîne Thermale Du Soleil for several years before moving to London. As long as I remember, I always wanted to help people to gain confidence and help them feel better. I love reading books, photography, fall walks, and … chocolate !
What is your specialty as a facialist?
I specialize in face Pilates, which is a workout for the skin that delivers a natural lift. It involves a massage to visibly lift and remodel the face. Overtime it helps to strengthen the muscles under the skin and bring back lift and glow !
Do you use different techniques/rituals for different skin types?
Every person, every face, every skin is unique and so are my facials. Depending on the skin needs, and the results that my clients wants to achieve I adapt my techniques. While I use cryospoons to depuff and decongest, I prefer to use a ridoki or stretching techniques to target wrinkles and fine lines.
What do you look for in the products you use on your clients?
Efficiency, suitable for sensitive skin and supportive of skin barrier. The sensoriality (smell, texture) also plays a role as for me it is important that my clients enjoy the products I use during the facial. It is not just about applying product, but providing a unique experience.
Why did you choose to work with Gallinée ? Tell us about your meeting with the brand!
Dr Marine Vincent introduce me the brand when I became a resident facialist at the french pharmacy and I immediately fall in love with the brand. The first product I bought was the mask & scrub.
Trick question: what is your favorite Gallinée product?
Very difficult question. I can’t choose one so I’ll tell you my favorite trio !
The body milk, the cleanser foam and … the face oil obviously !
Where can we find you? (social media, make an appointment, etc)
You can find me on Instagram @the.french.facialist, and you can book directly on my website or the website of The French Pharmacy.
Finally, what would you say is the best skincare advice to give someone?
Less is more ! We do not need 15 different products to apply everyday. And if you do not know where to start, ask for professional advice.
